support the raising up of
Indigenous workers
Indigenous workers are men and women who grew up in Scotland’s schemes, came to faith there, and are now being trained to serve and lead in their own communities. This fundraiser exists to help raise up and support these workers so the gospel can take deep root for the long term.
HERE IS THE HONEST TENSION
These workers are often unseen. They are not conference speakers, professors, or well known leaders. They are faithful men and women doing whatever it takes to serve the church. Because of that, they are also the hardest to fund.

At 20schemes, “indigenous workers” are men and women who:
-Are now being trained to serve, lead, and plant churches in their own context
-Grew up in deprived communities
-Came to faith within those communities
Why this Matters
Indigenous leaders:
-Understand the culture, language, struggles, and dynamics
-Are positioned to stay and serve for the long term
-Already have deep relational networks
