Mez McConnell, is the Senior Pastor of Niddrie Community Church (Edinburgh, Scotland) and the founder and Ministry Director of 20schemes. He has been involved in full time pastoral ministry, both church planting and revitalisation since 1999.
He has worked in inner city areas in England, Scotland and Brazil and has a passion for training men and women for ministry in this context.
He has written 4 books: Preparing for Baptism: A Personal Diary (Grace Publications Trust), Is There Anybody Out There? (Christian Focus), What’s The Point Of Life? (CF4Kids), and Church In Hard Places (Crossway).
Mez studied Missiology at Moorland Bible College, England and Pastoral Theology at Bryntirion Bible College, Wales. He has been married to Miriam since 1998 and has two lovely daughters, Keziah and Lydia.
Matthew Spandler-Davison is originally from Stonehaven, Scotland. He is a graduate of the University of Aberdeen and was awarded a doctorate by The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, KY.
He came to faith at the age of 16 after hearing the gospel at a Scottish Baptist Church. Prior to ministry he worked at the Scottish Parliament.
Matthew is married to Tracy and has two daughters. He is a church planter and the pastor of Redeemer Fellowship Church, in Bardstown, KY. Matthew loves to encourage and train other church planters.
Sharon has over 26 years experience working in the community primarily with families and people who have experienced homelessness.
She has two grown up children who are both at University. Sharon has worked at Niddrie Community Church for over 8 years primarily establishing, training and co-ordinationing the women’s ministry.
In October 2012 her ministry role changed as she focused solely on 20schemes. Sharon is the Director of Operations & Women’s Ministry with 20schemes and has a multifaceted role coordinating the UK and USA office, as well as women’s ministry.

Mike has been on the staff team at Niddrie Community Church since 2007, and Communications Manager for 20schemes since March 2014.
Prior to NCC, Mike worked for Charlotte Chapel in Edinburgh as their youth worker, and in corporate insolvency at KPMG.
He has an MA(Hons) in English Literature and History from the University of Edinburgh, and a BA in Youth Work with Applied Theology from International Christian College in Glasgow.
He’s married to Helen, and has 2 young boys.
Born and bred in Edinburgh, Matthew attained a Law degree from the University of Edinburgh, before working in corporate banking for 11 years.
After completing Bible college. he began working for 20schemes in September 2014 with principal responsibility for finance and operational compliance, alongside the part-time pursuit of a Masters in Biblical Interpretation.
Matthew is married to Karen; they have a son, Jacob, and a daughter, Sophie. They are members of Niddrie Community Church.

Miriam has been serving in Niddrie since 2007. Over that time she has been involved with pretty much all the various ministries that the church run.
In the past couple of years she has been focussing on women’s ministry in particular. Miriam is responsible for organising and coordinating 20schemes events in the UK.
She has been married to Mez (Ministry Director of 20schemes) since 1998 and they have two daughters.

Scott Slater is part of the 20schemes team responsible for administrative and financial oversight as well as providing support and information to our workers and church partners. He is based in the 20schemes US office.
Scott is originally from Mt. Washington, near Louisville, Kentucky.
He is a pastoral assistant at Mercy Hill Baptist Church, a church plant in central Kentucky. Scott is a graduate of Boyce Bible College of The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.
Marci Haydon taught in public schools for 29 years before coming to work for the 20schemes US office to help with donor retention and work with new and prospective interns.
Aside from 2 years teaching on an American military base in Germany and 7 years in Texas, she has lived her entire life in Bardstown, Kentucky.
She is married to Franke Haydon, also a retired teacher and an associate pastor, and has two adult daughters, Maddie and Emily.
